When it's done I'll let you know. So far I have a forge I made out of bricks and a shop vac but haven't messed around with heating the metal up and shaping it etc. I barely even know how to read the color of the metal to gauge it's temperature so bear with me. Baby steps are what I'm taking here.

I might be missing something but yeah I'm happy with how my assortment is coming along.

I can't forge jack shit yet but I've gotten a lot more skilled by making knives out of hardened bolts and drill bits and my forearms are bigger and stronger now than when I weighed 250+ rofl.

would kill for a 40oz cross peen but they're hard to find (good steel obv) but i have more than enough tools to get something resembling an axe (eventually.)

also I went shopping to get a good idea of what I want my handles to look like/the sizing etc so I went to three places harbor freight being my last stop and OH MY FUCKING GOD ARE THEIR HAND TOOLS ATROCIOUS. I couldn't find ONE SINGLE hammer of any kind with a properly wedged/seated head NOT ONE. after a few minutes I grabbed a 4lb crusher of some kind and the head literally wiggled around and I dropped it loudly on the ground in absolute disgust and like 3 guys who were shopping for hammers literally walked around right behind me it was awesome.
