Directly following my successful two-week ordeal with the hackers, I decided to detox after watching The Fighter. I was aware my hell would clash with your visit, but there's always a reason to put it off...so I went for it.
I successfully negotiated the 8 days of sheer hell, and broke through the pain barrier on Day 6 or 7 I think. Obviously, I was not socially presentable. Day 8 was an enjoyable day of productive sobriety, concluded with a lengthy period of looking back up at my wagon.
I won't be doing that again in a hurry. I strongly advise others to learn from my mistake. Nothing good can come from such foolish endeavors.
